Un-stuffed Cabbage (Malfouf mish Me7shi)

 1 Small onion, diced
 3 Garlic cloves, minced
 3 g Garlic cloves, thinly sliced
 200 g Minced beef
 1 tsp 7 spice
 ½ tsp Cumin
 ½ tsp Salt
 2 tbsp Dried mint
 1 cup Rice, washed and drained
 1 ½ cups Water
 ½ a head of a small cabbage, thinly sliced

Sauté the onion and meat until cooked with the spices until meat is browned.

Add the garlic and rice and toss for a minute, then add in the cabbage.

Top them with water, bring to a boil, then cover, lower the heat and simmer for around 15mins or until rice is cooked. Check on them around the 10mins to give a quick toss and see if you need to add any water.

Serve with a generous squeeze of lemon juice.
