A traditional French dessert, kind of like a simple strawberry stuffed cake/pudding. So simple, yet so deliciously satisfying!

A traditional French dessert, kind of like a simple strawberry stuffed cake/pudding. So simple, yet so deliciously satisfying!! Fluffy and moist and a bit crusty, beautifully mixed with that caramelised strawberry taste... yum!!!

No oil/fat needed, and I used almond milk for a dairy free version. I imagine it’ll work just as nicely with most summer fruits! This recipe is definitely for the books. Enjoy ❤️

  cup almond flour (can be replaced with regular flour)
 ½ cup flour, all-purpose or wholewheat
 ½ cup grandulated sugarI used raw cane, coconut is another great option
 1.50 tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp salt
 3 eggs
 ½ cup milk of choiceI use almond milk
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 400 g strawberries, chopped into small pieces(around 3-4 cups chopped strawberries)

Place all your dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

Make a little well in the center, add in the eggs along with the vanilla and beat them lightly.

Gradually pour in the milk while whisking until you get a smooth batter.

Brush your baking dish with a bit of tahini, add in your chopped strawberries at the bottom, and pour over your batter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for aournd 30-40mins, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
